My sister was actually a Home Ec major and I think it took all the joy out of homemaking for her. Everything was so methodical and they had a lot of design "rules." My Grandmother taught me how to do the embroidery when I was four. It's SO easy. You make the coffee and I'll bring the tea towels and we can bust 'em out . . . ;)
I think you are doing just fine without the formal training! I'd hire you any day!

I really wish I could do fun things like this. Guess I should have majored in Home Ec at PCC;) (I did actually think about it)
