House #2
Sewing tea towels makes me happy.
Kitty sits at the table with me and we make designs together.
It makes me even happier.
Completing something as simple as a towel gives me a sense of accomplishment.
Little things.

An Olive Boat!
My husband tells a fond story about how much his father liked olives that at his wedding there was a dish of olives just for him at the reception. I'm not sure if my Aunt Kathy ever heard that story, but when I opened this gift from her, I smiled. My husband likes olives too and I'll be setting this olive boat in front of his dinner plate every so often.
Thank you, Aunt Kathy!

Tea Towel Design
Housework should be cheerfully and joyfully executed. So obviously towels should be well designed with happiness and love. We'll see how it turns out. I find myself with a little time to myself during football season. Enough time to try and be creative and accomplish . . . something. Something other than housework:) Even if it's just something as simple as a design for a tea towel.

From Mardi
It's not my birthday. My dear friend just surprises me. She does that a lot.
This beautifully wrapped gift has been setting here for a few hours now, but I just can't get myself to tear into the delicate wrapping. It's driving my daughter crazy. Her small hands are getting more curious by the minute. I have to keep shooing her away. Thank you, Mardi. I don't know what it is, but I LOVE it!
